Misuzu Kitazumi piano studio in Sherman Oaks and North Hollywood offers beginner to advanced students a systematic approach to piano instruction and emphasis on music fundamentals such as interpretation, technique, rhythmic training, and sight-reading. Ultimately, the main objective is to teach the art of piano through motivation and encouragement while having fun. I hope that my students would reciprocate and give the best of their ability. I believe that through the process of learning a musical instrument and performing, students develop self-confidence and motivation that will be truly beneficial in life even if the student decides not to pursue a career in music. Studies have shown that students who have musical aptitude score higher in standardized tests. Musical appreciation is a lifetime journey that evolves through time and it is my utmost goal to share this passion with my students.
