I studied under Dan all through high school and consistantly won first place at solo and ensemble contests! I highly recommend!

My father and I both studied under Richard Paul. It was an amazing experience. There is no other place that I would send my own children if they decide to play drums. While Richard has passed, I know there quality is still exceptional. His son Dan went to college with my father and can attest to his skills as a musician. This is THE place to learn drums and percussion in central Indiana.

I studied under Richard Paul for ten years, I was the only other six year old he took on besides his son. It is the finest stuido in the midwest. I won 31 first place state solo contest awards, 27 of them being with a perfect score.
I played drums in the 74th army band when I was drafted in 1972, which I'm sure saved my life. Then I played pro for fifteen years, until I met my wife. The Paul-Mueller percussion studio is the only place to learn percussion, by far. With his training I became a great drummer and the skills he tought me helped me in all of my life. In fact when I had a brain tumor removed when I was 50, my doctor told me that the training in percussion helped my brain re-wire its self, otherwise I would not have recovered so well from that surgery. My hat go's off to the great people at the Paul-Mueller percussion studio, you can't do any better than them.

Fantastic studio! I took lessons there through junior high and couldn't be more pleased. They gave me an EXCELLENT drumming foundation. I seriously cannot recommend the Paul-Mueller Percussion Studio any higher!
