Kountz Studio of Music has been in business since 1985 in Chicago and now can be found in the Northwest Suburbs. I offer both 'In Studio' and 'In Your Home' private professional music instruction for Guitar, Piano, and Bass Guitar.
All styles of music are taught including Classical, Flamenco, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Metal, Industrial, Dance, Latin and Pop. All levels and age groups are instructed. Lessons are always individually tailored to fit the needs and goals of each student focusing on technique, note and tablature reading, theory, and songwriting.
I offer plenty of competition opportunities year round for those interested. I also offer/recommend 'Rock Band Coaching' to bands that need direction with: image creation, choosing powerful set lists, promo kit construction, how to get press and gigs, songwriting and orchestration of instruments.
