Mark Agostinelli is the head teacher and has been playing most of his life. D. Mark Agostinelli has won the Joan Osborne award for performing arts. Agostinelli offers his expertise in: Rudiments, Sheet music reading, Stick control, Time, Groove, and coordination. Agostinelli also teaches all styles Rock, Funk, Jazz, African, Latin, Brazilian, Drum n Bass, Electronic etc... Agostinelli specializes in African music notation and style. He knows all 6 African rhythms. Agostinelli has taken numerous trips to Nigeria, Africa to study African style rhythm. We teach all ages, and all levels. He tought my son how to read and now he got accepted into a great music school. I expect my son to become a famous drummer because of D Mark Agostinelli. Mark aslo teaches all styles which I think is great. There are no other teachers on Staten Island that can do as much as him. He might just be the best teacher in New York City.
